Our Wedding Theme

Nowadays, most weddings comes in different kinds of theme. Thus, it makes wedding plans more fun and exciting. It usually brings out the creativity and teamwork of the couple, so that they could come up with unique and amazing ideas for their wedding.

When Marc and I finally decided to get married, we couldn't figure out what we really want for our wedding theme. We have so many ideas on our mind and it was so hard to come up with a decision to choose if which is the best. We don't want to make things complicated especially when it comes to planning as we try to incorporate our ideas.

All we want is something simple, but elegant. Since, we are in a "Long Distance Relationship", we suddenly realize that it would be great to have a destination wedding. We want our wedding to be something special, not only for both of us, but to our family as well. The destination wedding fits perfectly as we relate ourselves in the events of our life, from the moment we first met until our relationship blossoms into love - across a thousand miles. It was during that time when I came up with a perfect name/title for our wedding, "The Journey of Our Love".

As we go through with our wedding plans, we decided to spice up our wedding theme and came up with this idea: add a touch of vintage or something classic which really suits our color motif and a bit of 80's - it was the famous genre when we were younger, haha! Are we old? Of course not! I am no being defensive because Marc and I are always young at heart and blessed with youthful looks. We finally made a decision for our wedding theme:

"Vintage Destination Wedding"

"LOVE knows no distance... because no matter how far away, it will always find a way"

Here is a mood board of our wedding theme. I gather whatever photos I can find that would fit perfectly to the wedding we want. Of course, I have to ask Marc's opinion first and I am glad that he agrees with it. Thank you so much, Sweetie!

A Poem For My Husband

I have written a poem for Marco (my handsome husband) as my gift for him on Valentine's Day. This poem would describe our everlasting love for each other as we are opening a new chapter of our lives together as husband and wife.

As we face the challenges every day to keep our love so strong and alive
