Emcee and DJ Spinner

When Marco and I finally decided to tie the knot, we've been planning for months on how things will go on the most important days of our lives. We both wanted it to be perfect and we have this picture on what the word "PERFECT" means for both of us. As we go through the process of our wedding preparation, I got so overwhelmed that I end up making the program script for our wedding reception. Marco even told me that I am making the job of our emcee much easier.

Oh yeah, speaking of wedding host or emcee, a reception wouldn't be even more fun without and engaging program that you and your guests could look forward to in making a wedding celebration a successful one. Marco and I were extremely happy that we had Ms. Gee as the Master of Ceremony and Goward as the spinner at our wedding. Ms. Gee was very good at public speaking and can tell a few jokes which made everyone at the reception enjoyed the program.

It was indeed a perfect day for our family and friends making comments that it was one of the best weddings they'd been to. Ms. Gee is a talented emcee and she made sure that the flow of the program runs smoothly. Plus, the way we were introduced as a newlywed couple made us feel like real celebrities and the center of attention.

In addition, our spinner Godward made a good impression from our guests, telling us that he did a great amount of behind-the-scenes work in helping us make our wedding reception and enjoyable experience for everyone. He made sure that he keeps track of all the music to be played in each part of the program and the little cue songs played during the speeches. The selection of music for the dancing was really great which keeps the dance floor alive until the program ends. He played the music that was exactly what we requested and accommodating our wishes with some of our favorite songs. We are so blessed because they made our special day a moment to remember. We are also grateful with all the advice Ms. Gee has given us prior to the wedding day. Everything has come together in place and our wedding celebration wouldn't be a success without their help and hard work.

Guest Registration List

Some people have this kind of perception that a Guest Registration List or a Guestbook was just an ordinary book or its a piece of paper where they have to write down their names, addresses, and then signed it. Other people may think that it's just simply a waste of money. What people don't realize that this simple book or so-called piece of paper was very important for the bride and groom.

For Marco (who is now my husband) and I truly believed that it play a significant role in any events such as weddings. Aside from the fact, that it bears all the names of invited guest(s), it is also our way of acknowledging all the people who took the time and effort to made it to our wedding. This also gave us the perfect impression that our wedding was an exclusive event and not just some common party at the bar. Having one at our wedding take us away from all the hassle in dealing with uninvited guest(s) or people who crashed at our wedding.

So to make it more personalized, we decided to make our own guest registration list that has already the names of all invited guest(s) celebrating with us and listed their names in alphabetical order. All they have to do is just look for their name and then signed it. Plus, it would be a good keepsake we had from our wedding if we look at it years from now.

For guests who are not a part of the bridal entourage, kindly read the following guidelines to help you choose your outfit for the event. Our wedding theme is a "Vintage Destination Wedding" with a touch of 80's and romantic fun, so here's what we imagine that you'll be wearing on our wedding day.

FOR THE FEMALE GUESTS

A bright and colorful, fun and floral knee-length or long dresses.
Accessorize and wear a nice pair of shoes.
Pant suits or a nice blouse and dress pants are acceptable.

Daytime Wedding Guest Attire For Ladies

Ladies, please  DO NOT WEAR white or black dresses, glittery or skimpy dresses, or animal (zebra, lion, giraffe, cow, snake, and etc.) print dresses. 

Inappropriate Wedding Guest Attire For Ladies

FOR THE MALE GUESTS

We encourage you to wear a button-down shirt with collar.
Neck tie and jacket or blazer (optional)
A nice pair of dress pants or slacks and leather shoes would be more appropriate.

Gentlemen, please DO NOT WEAR denim pants or sports jacket, walking shorts, flip flops or sandals, rubber shoes, and sneakers.
